How has selling changed in the past two weeks?
It may well be the biggest, single, global shift in selling history!
Whether you’re a salesperson selling to a customer, or a leader influencing your team, a fundamental change has just occurred.
It’s the shift to the virtual sales conversation.
Two weeks ago, the sale was often done within LIVE proximity of the customer – The Proximity Model.
The “Proximity Overlap” allowed us to rely on Personality Power and rapport to drive the sales conversation.
Now, we live in a sales and influence world that is reliant upon a Distance Model … where the only connection is electronic – virtual.
Personality Power declines in this model and the sales conversation is driven by a different power – Presentation Power.
You can’t just sit in front of a screen and talk.
You must USE the screen.
You need to SHARE deep and meaningful insights THROUGH the screen.
The best way to do that is by using powerful visual models in a selling system that I call “Sell By Zoom.”
